Precious Kreations brings people with disabilities, their families and friends together on the runway
NEW ORLEANS, LA, UNITED STATES, September 16, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Precious Kreations Inc. is bringing it’s We Style Too Fashion Show back to New Orleans on Sunday, Oct. 18, 2026.
First held in 2023, We Style Too invites people with disabilities to take the runway alongside their family members and friends. Together, participants will showcase their personal style and individuality while sharing the experience with the community.
Held during Down Syndrome Awareness Month, this year’s fashion show also recognizes a milestone for Precious, the organization’s co-founder and namesake, who turned 25 in May. As a young woman with Down Syndrome, this milestone held special meaning. Precious’ mom, Olantha L. Scott founded this nonprofit to help families learn about resources and to spread disability awareness.
At the heart of the event is the Precious Kreations motto: “Just because you have a disability does not mean you cannot be stylish.” It represents the idea that people with disabilities have style & personality, individuality & worth. They deserve to be seen and included.
“We Style Too gives people with disabilities the opportunity to take the runway alongside their families and friends, show their personal style, and be celebrated for who they are. Our message is simple: just because you have a disability does not mean you cannot be stylish. We want this event to bring people together, connect families with community resources, and celebrate disability awareness.”
— Olantha Scott, Founder, Precious Kreations Inc.
This year’s event will feature BigChoo and Queen Athena XII-Select Selina Robinson-Coleman of the Krewe of Athena Carnival Krewe. Torrence Taylor and Brandi Jarrow are returning as hosts this year. Donyette Williams, reigning Queen of CTC Original Steppers, will be walking in the fashion show. Zulu Tramps will also be a part of the celebration; and DJ Mookie will provide the sounds to give this event a lively atmosphere.
Community resources will be available during the event. Guests will also be able to shop Precious Kreations awareness merchandise, including graphic tees and accessories designed to help people wear and share disability awareness in style.
The event is free and open to the public.
Registration is required via Eventbrite and donations are welcome.
