Cincinnati, OH – September 14, 2026 – Bastion Property Management has surpassed 100 rental units under management in its original Greater Cincinnati operation less than a year after accepting its first clients, marking an early growth milestone for the Milford-based company. The total reflects only its Cincinnati-area portfolio and excludes units associated with its developing franchise operations in Texas and Florida.
Bastion Property Management began accepting clients in October 2025 and built its initial portfolio without outside investors or an external cash infusion. In 2026, the property-management business opened to franchising, with Bastion Texas and Bastion Florida now operating under signed franchise agreements, brokers in place, and their first clients signed and being served.
Founder Ronnie “Scott” Adams built Bastion Property Management around lessons gained from Darwin Homes, a nationwide technology-enabled property management company. During his tenure, Darwin’s portfolio grew from approximately 500 homes to more than 10,000 homes across 20 states. Adams was a substantial contributor to the processes and software that supported that growth and later rose to vice president of operations overseeing institutional clients.
This experience gave Adams a close view of the systems required to manage large rental portfolios efficiently, but it also revealed an opportunity to bring the same operational discipline to local property owners with greater personal accountability and closer attention to cost.
