New online store extends ideas from the 2026 speaker stage into apparel supporting TEDxBeverlyGrove event and operating costs
WEST HOLLYWOOD, CA, UNITED STATES, August 14, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — TEDxBeverlyGrove has launched an online store extending ideas from its 2026 speaker series beyond the stage, opening with a collection inspired by Better Youth founder and CEO Syd Stewart’s TEDxBeverlyGrove 2026 talk, “Shift Happens.”
Near the end of her talk, delivered March 14, 2026, at the Marilyn Monroe Theatre in West Hollywood, Stewart said a line that stayed with the audience.
“They are not broken. The system is,” Stewart said.
In the weeks following the event, attendees and supporters reached out asking whether the line would be made available beyond the stage.
TEDxBeverlyGrove has responded with the launch of the TEDxBeverlyGrove Store, now live at tedxbeverlygrove.myshopify.com, offering heavyweight hoodies and oversized tees designed in the event’s black, white, and red visual language. The back of the hoodie carries the closing declaration from Stewart’s talk, connecting the phrase “Shift Happens” to her description of a foster youth becoming a better youth.
The store marks the first release in a planned TEDxBeverlyGrove speaker-series collection, with additional speaker-inspired apparel expected to follow. Proceeds support TEDxBeverlyGrove event and operating costs. Apparel is currently available for shipping within the United States.
Syd Stewart is the Founder and CEO of Better Youth, Inc., a Los Angeles-based nonprofit equipping foster and system-impacted youth ages 16 to 24 with mentoring, media arts training, and professional skills development.
